The practicalities of working within the historic fabric also needed to be considered. Number four Hinton Hill had no heating other than a dual fuel burner. New electric heating on a dual tariff meter, secondary glazing, loft insulation and low energy lighting was included within the refurbishment to improve the EPC rating from a G to an E.

Our professionals obtained listed building consent and wrote a detailed specification of works to comply with this, using traditional methods and materials. We managed the procurement process and undertook the principle designer and contract administration roles.
