Lee heads up our Living Sector capabilities, utilising his experience from previous senior directorial roles at FirstPort Group and Orchard & Shipman, providing consultancy and management services across a wide range of residential offerings.
Lee has previously had management responsibility for the UK’s largest BTR scheme at Wembley and advised high street names and investment funds on innovating new styles of BTR and residential offerings to market.
Following a period of supporting the client through the development and scheme build, in 2022 Carter Jonas was appointed to provide full lettings and management to a new-build 63-unit student facility Old Bakery Yard, just off the Lower Bristol Road in Bath.
The new student housing comprising 63 units split into nine clusters of seven ensuite rooms, serviced by a large and well-appointed kitchen and dining area, and a self-contained twodio flat with its own kitchen facilities. All tenancies come on an all-inclusive basis with high-speed broadband and all utilities included.
Following a successful leasing and mobilisation period, the student block has been operating for two full academic years, with a high number of returning students.
Supported by our Operational Living team, the Bath Lettings and Management office has curated and managed the Old Bakery Yard, and has also achieved Unipol accreditation in each year, as part of their code of management for larger buildings.
The Old Bakery Yard scheme is one of our most vibrant communities covering students from both Bath Universities, and from first-years through to post-grad students.
In addition to lettings and management, Carter Jonas has assisted the client with exploring the potential for expansion of the current scheme, and the management of the adjoining commercial units onsite
